Sunrise to start the day!

The last few days have been glorious and after a keen frost this morning the sun started to rise to deliver another day just like summer and it's only March! I have been keeping away from the pond (lake if I am in Mrs Bucket mode!) so as not to disturb our Moorhens. I am lucky to be able to view them at times  as we have cctv on the pond but not on the nest. I don't know quite where they have it and I  don't want to frighten them at this critical time. I ventured down there today and to my surprise she was having a swim, she quickly dived underwater and was a while before she surfaced at the far side. I made a hasty retreat and left her to her peace and quiet.
