Mrs Buckets lake is a pond really with Moorhens!

Today I just caught a glimpse of one of the Moorhens as she headed towards the pond to feed and swim. See her in the middle of the photo! The other photo is of our pond when all the lupins  and Iris are in bloom. It is teh first time we have had Moorhens as we only developed the pond  3 years ago but its amazing what wildlife come and use it. As a foot note I do like to call the pond a lake (aka Mrs Bucket!)
